Next thai food is Som Tum or Someone call Papaya Pok Pok.
Ingredients :
- Papaya : the fresh and green
- Lime
- Tomato : the small one
- Fish Sauce
- A non-dried ripe tamarind (มะขามเปียก)
- Guinea-pepper (พริกขี้หนู)
- Garlic
- Fermented fish sauce (น้ำปลาร้า)
- Vigna (ถั่วฝักยาว)
- A morning glory (ผักบุ้ง)
How to cook :
- Peel the skin of papaya and chop it into the strings.
- Pound the garlic ,guinea-pepper and the papaya string in the mortar
- Flavour by Lime juice, Fermented fish sauce, A non-dried ripe tamarind and fish sauce.
- Put the half cut of tomato and vigna and pound it
P.S. : Mix everything in the mortar and pound not to much.
: Papaya can be replaced by carrots.
